Designed with convenience and versatility in mind, this hardware features a built-in cable adjuster and steel cable, making installation a breeze. Compatible with substrates up to 3/8" thick, it offers a wide range of application possibilities.
Simply insert the steel cable through the top of the hardware and let it exit from the side. Depress the top button to insert the cable, and release to lock it securely in place. This keyless release mechanism allows for easy push/pull adjustment, ensuring hassle-free installation of your ceiling display. Please note: Do not use with coated or painted steel cable, though it's compatible with stainless steel at reduced holding power.
For Drop Ceiling installations, attach our E-Z Twist-On Metal Ceiling Clip to any standard 1-inch ceiling grid. Cut the 1/16" steel cable to your desired length, form a loop, and secure it with an E-Z Aluminum Crimp or an UrbanTrapeze 1.5 cable adjuster. Then, insert the loose end of the cable into the hardware, adjust to your preferred length, and trim any excess. Insert your panel into the opening of the mounting hardware and tighten the nut and bolt.
For Open Beam Ceiling and Finished Ceiling installations, follow similar steps with slight variations according to the ceiling type.
This heavy-duty hanging hardware requires 1/16 inch (1.5 millimeters) 7 x 7 galvanized steel cable for optimal performance. Please ensure that the safe working load does not exceed 35 pounds (16kg).
